Trevi Fountain: A Wish Tossed into Emerald Waters

Trevi Fountain: A Wish Tossed into Emerald Waters

Discover how a simple reservation made our visit to the Trevi Fountain a breeze, even in the middle of a crowded afternoon.

The sound of rushing water greets you long before the fountain itself comes into view. Once you turn the corner and see the Trevi Fountain in all its Baroque glory, it's impossible not to be breathless. It's a masterpiece of stone and water that dominates the small piazza with its sheer scale.

The Legend of the Three Coins

  • One coin: To ensure your return to Rome.
  • Two coins: To find new love.
  • Three coins: For marriage.

The Secret to a Seamless Visit

Many assume the only way to avoid the crowds is a 6 AM wake-up call, but we found a better way. We made a reservation for the entrance right next to the fountain. Even though we arrived at 1:30 PM—peak time for Roman tourists—the experience was incredibly smooth. Despite the visible crowds in the square, having that reservation meant we were able to enter almost immediately and enjoy the fountain from a prime perspective without the usual wait.
