🥩 Oven-Baked Lamb Chops – Melt-in-your-mouth tender!

If you want lamb that doesn't need a knife and is full of fresh aromas, this is the 'divine' and super simple version! ✨

I couldn't keep this recipe all to myself. If you want lamb that doesn't need a knife and is full of fresh aromas, this is the 'divine' and super simple version! ✨

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 2 lamb chops (small/medium)
  • Dry spices: Salt, sweet paprika, granulated garlic (to taste)
  • Fresh herbs: 1 bunch of green garlic, a few sprigs of fresh thyme, 1 small bunch of chives
  • Liquid: 1 generous glass of wine (white or rose, dry/semi-dry)

👩‍🍳 Preparation:

  1. Seasoning: Season the meat well on all sides with salt, paprika, and granulated garlic. Massage the meat slightly so the flavors penetrate.
  2. Green Aromas: Finely chop the green garlic and chives. Sprinkle them generously over the chops, together with the thyme sprigs.
  3. Cooking: Place everything in a cast-iron pot (essential for heat distribution!). Pour the glass of wine around the edges of the pot.
  4. Patience is Key: Put the lid on and bake for approximately 4 hours at a constant temperature of 165°C.

The result? Meat so tender it's simply divine! 🤤

💡 Tip: If you want a slightly browned crust, you can remove the lid for the last 15 minutes, but the 'slow cook' process at low temperature is what makes the magic happen.

Enjoy and have peaceful holidays! 🍷🌿
