Fluffy Marble Cake

A simplified marble cake recipe, incredibly airy, made without separating the eggs. Fewer dirty dishes, same delicious taste!

I've been showing you many recipes, but today I'm coming with my simplified version, which comes out incredibly airy without separating the eggs anymore. Fewer dirty dishes, the same delicious taste! 👩‍🍳✨

🛒 Ingredients needed:

  • 6 whole eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 160 g flour
  • 40 g starch (the secret for fineness!)
  • 80 ml oil
  • 50 ml milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 100 ml water (for the cocoa paste)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • Vanilla extract

👩‍🍳 Preparation method:

  1. The Base: Beat the whole eggs with the sugar and salt until they double in volume and become a light-colored cream.
  2. The Liquids: Add the milk, oil, and vanilla, then mix for another 2-3 minutes to homogenize everything well.
  3. Dry Ingredients: Gently incorporate the flour mixed with the baking powder and starch. Mix until homogenized, taking care to keep the composition airy.
  4. Marble Effect: Divide the batter into two equal bowls. Separately, mix the 2 tablespoons of cocoa with 100 ml of water until you get a liquid paste, which you pour over one of the bowls and mix.
  5. Baking: In a cake tin lined with parchment paper, put interchangeably from the two compositions to create that beautiful pattern.
  6. In the Oven: Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 40 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test.

The result? A high, fluffy cake, absolutely perfect next to a coffee or a cup of warm milk. ☕️🥧
